The only nail clipper you’ll ever need to buy (unless you lose it)
I did a lot of research before getting these and there’s some discrepancy about Green Bell vs Mr. Green and that it’s the same company but offering different tiers of quality. They’re not the same as Mr. Green is a Chinese brand and Green Bell is Japanese with a history of making blades (actual swords).These are incredibly sharp clippers that have no issues with thicker nails. I’m not sure why some reviewers say they’re oversized or for toes, they’re definitely for hands and are just slightly larger then more brands for the cutting area.The magnetic catch tray is a nice idea in theory but it slides up when you’re using them and blocks the lower cutting area… So it’s kinda useless.The quality of the whole unit is unreal and I came understand why most consider this a buy once and never need another in your lifetime. I’ve wasted money on midrange nail clippers from $10-$20 and they all fall apart within a year.The second you see and use this, you’ll understand why they’re th best.

This clipper really is far better than any I’ve previously used and it turns out that even at this price it’s good value for the money. The cutters are sharp. The clipper’s quality and heft is impressive. The built-in nail file is useful and the catcher contains most, but not all, of the nail clippings. This clipper feels good in your hand and makes clipping fingernails and toenails easier and a more pleasant experience.

I’m very picky about my fingers… as in, I’ll pick at them incessantly, and mindlessly exploit any imperfection in the edge of my nails.. and cause imperfections.. and tear them. Bad. They’re the size that people usually consider to be toenail clippers, but I use them everywhere. ok not there, but both fingers and toes, as well as to trim nail-corner calluses… and also sometimes to snip skin for better access to get splinters out.Word to the wise: the best time to clip your toenails is after bathing. Clean the corners well with the blunt tip of a metal nail file, then use plenty of alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to ensure they’re very clean, then clip, then clean again. If you go digging into toenails when they’re hard and dry you’re much more likely to have problems.
