The LONDONTOWN Foldable UV/LED Gel Lamp comes in a fabric carrying pouch. It is very small and compact, which makes it easy to store and great for traveling. The only downside is that it is powered by an included USB cable so you need to stay near an outlet compared to ones that are rechargeable. It is very simple to use as there is only 1 button that is the on/off switch and starts a 60 second default timer. The gel lamp seems quite study and durable and worked well at curing my semi-cured gel nail strips.Made in China

Cures Multiple Types of Gel
I tested this lamp on three different kinds of gel – hard builder gel with a light pink color (plus topcoat), clear non-sticky hard gel that’s moldable like putty, and red colored one-step gel (no base or topcoat).The hard builder gel took two cycles to fully cure and the topcoat took one. It’s possible one cycle was enough for the gel, but it still seemed stickier than it should’ve been so I went with a second. After curing the gel was hard and shiny.The non-sticky hard gel cured perfectly in one cycle. It was slightly pliable (as it should be) but I couldn’t make a dent in it.The one-step gel also cured perfectly in one cycle. I painted it onto a paper nail form fairly thick and then peeled it off to check the underside – fully cured.I’m very pleasantly surprised, as a lot of times these smaller lamps aren’t great. This one doesn’t list the wavelength either, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.It’s small and comes with a micro USB cable and little cloth pouch for storage. Really convenient if I don’t feel like breaking out a full sized lamp, and I can fit my whole hand under it.

Perfect for at home gel manicures
Easy to use and folds up flat to store!It has a timer built in so it auto shuts off after a set amount of time. I notice that my base, top, and thin color gel polishes take one round to cure, with a builder gel taking a little under 2.The lamp is large enough to comfortably fit all 5 fingers underneath.I definitely recommend looking away from the area the lamp is in while using as to not bother your eyes!

Lightweight and compact for travel but needs to be plugged in
I did have higher expectations for this brand and for what I expected from a curing lamp, but it does have its good sides. It is small and compact. Folds up easily so it’s very simple to store it. Comes with a storage bag as well. Easy to use anywhere in your home however, it needs to be plugged in with the USB cord. I was a bit disappointed with that because I’d prefer something that charges and then could be used anywhere without needing to be next to an outlet. But it has plenty of lights and offers curing all around so you can do a full hand at a time. Feels light and flimsy but does work well.

The good thing about this portable uv/led gel lamp is that it is indeed that…portable. It’s a good small size that easily and conveniently folds flat-ish. However…it seems this needs to be plugged in to actually be used so you’ll have to bring a powerbank/battery or plug it into the wall which almost negates its portability. Because of this shortcoming, I don’t find it to be that great of a value, considering it’s more on the cheaper side of quality as well.

Good UV lamp with multi direction exposure
I use UV lamps for my epoxy resin projects and the flashlights that usually are used do an ok job, but you have to shine it all over to get a decent cure. This light is designed for fingernails so it can sit on top of your nails while curing, which is great for being able to set it above my project and just let it cure. It has a timer so you don’t accidentally leave it on, but might require multiple sessions to do a full cure on things other than nails. I like the spacing of the lights themselves as it provides good coverage, and the reflective metal makes sure that the light fully reflects into your project. I like that this folds down thin to be able to hide away when not in use. Overall i’m happy with the performance of this UV light, and feel it provides a good value. It seems to do a good job drying my projects quickly. The durability is fine for what it is, but i wouldn’t put too much pressure on it from above if folded out as you might damage the hinges.
