I like the idea of these and I think over a LONG period of time they would work well but they haven’t done much for me after a few weeks of using. Its summer right now and my heels are *not* pretty, very cracked, and seem to be beyond the help of this – I feel like these patches would work well to prevent cracks from forming but for actually helping after they’re there, its not enough since that dead skin really needs to be removed first.

Work well IF you can get them to stay on
These heel pads worked really well to heal cracks in my heels overnight, but their biggest issue is that they only work on the areas they actually stay on. First of all, they don’t come with instructions – are you supposed to peel the backing off or leave it on? Which side is supposed to sit against the heel? I found that even with the shape, it didn’t contour to my heel very well (and I wear size US 8 medium-width women’s shoes, which seems pretty standard.) I ended up basically spreading this on the area of my heel that was the worst and then pulled a sock over it tightly to try to hold it in place. This worked pretty well for one foot, but it slipped overnight off the other foot. The heel on the foot it stayed on looked and felt great, though, although even staying on, the patch is small so it didn’t wrap around my entire heel edge, which was disappointing. These are one time use, so at least I could just toss them after I was done, but it’s a small pack, so the cost can add up if you need a new box every week.

Great for travel and TLC
I thought these moisturizing crack patches from Pureease were incredibly helpful in healing my feet after a long summer of wearing sandals. They are thin, flexible, and incredibly good at helping retain moisture in the skin around the heels. The patches were a little large on my feet, but they still had good adhesion and did not move around or fall off after a full night’s use. They were super comfortable to have on and I definitely will be adding this to my list of foot care items when my feet need a little TLC. For the price ($6.80 at time of writing), I think these patches are a good investment as you get three pairs of individually wrapped patches.

Doesn’t cover womens’ size 7 heel completely, doesn’t stay on through nighttime sleep, doesn’t actually moisturize just gives the appearance and even that doesn’t last more than a 1/2 hour.

Cracked Peeling Skin
I had to find this out through trial and error, but it seems like the key to using these, is after a shower before you go to bed.They are a sticky silicone that helps with cracks and fissures that tend to peel. I don’t think they would do very much for people that don’t have those deep cracks, but for me they worked great.Perfect size for a crack.

Small, plain silicone stickers
These are too small to even use on my heel. They are just a thin, sticky sheet of silicone that you stick on the back of your heel. The instructions say they work better with moisturizer, so I applied a *little* bit to my foot, but then the patch wouldn’t stay on, even with my socks on top. I like the idea, but they feel pretty pointless – they don’t come with any moisturizer, they don’t stick well, and they’re very small. I noticed no difference in my feet at all after using these.

Sticks in place for a long time to hold in moisture
I was a little disappointed that these foot barrier patches did not have any product in them. However, the plus is that you can use your favorite foot cream or Vaseline to add prior to the patch if desired. I had to be careful not to put too much on or the patches do not stick as well. The patches do have plenty of sticky on them, yet they are easy to remove with no pain. If you don’t get them stuck exactly where you want, they are easy to readjust. I like that they are clear and not very noticeable on the foot. They very effectively hold in moisture and/or protect the heel from drying out. Once applied, they don’t feel like anything is stuck on the foot. Directions say they can remain on the foot for 12 to 24 hours. Essentially, you can stick them on and forget about them. They are a bit of an investment for just six patches – or three pairs. For severely cracked heels that need a lot of TLC – they do work very well.
