I really wanted to like this foot cream, but it just wasn’t a good fit for me. The first thing I noticed was the fragrance – it has a fairly strong scent, which may be fine if you enjoy scented products, but it was stronger than I prefer. It also took quite a while to absorb, leaving my feet feeling greasy longer than I expected.I only used it for a few days, so I can’t speak to any long-term results. During that time, I didn’t notice much improvement in the condition of my feet. Before continuing to use it, I scanned the ingredient list with the beauty-product safety app I typically use to evaluate personal care products. Based on the results it provided, I wasn’t comfortable continuing to use the cream, so I stopped.Another thing that bothered me was the packaging. The product prominently references Japan, giving the impression that it’s made there, but the fine print on the box states that it’s actually made in China. This review is for Sakura Foot Repair Cream for Dry Feet and Heels, Callus Softener Repairs Very Dry, Rough Skin, Non Greasy w/Sakura Blossom, Travel Size Lotion, No-Scrub Exfoliator and Moisturizer for Healthy Feet.Ive been using this for about a week and I have noticed quite a difference in my feet. Unfortunately I am too self conscious to post actual photos of my feet, but trust me they were calloused and cracked quite terribly. To the point where they would crack, bleed and be quite painful.After using this my feet aren’t cracking as badly, they’re moisturized and I actually have confidence to wear flip flops or sandals.They’re still a little rough but with continued use I think they would seriously help improve this as well.I haven’t noticed any skin peeling but it is easier to exfoliate my feet in the shower which I do every time I shower with a glass exfoliator.The only thing I would have to say I don’t like about the cream itself is that it is strongly scented. The scent isn’t unpleasant. I would describe it as a floral scent, but I get migraines easily from highly scented products and could see this triggering a migraine if I use too much of it or keep the container open for too long.The cream itself is white, and has a medium weight to it. It isn’t water thin but not goopy thick either. It spreads and absorbs easily and doesn’t leave a greasy residue after you have applied it.Despite the scent I really enjoy this cream and it has done more for my feet than most other products I have tried and trust me I have tried many because there is nothing worse than walking around on dry cracked feet (IYKYK)It might seem like a bit pricey but it really isn’t when you consider that a little goes a long way and it really does here. I don’t apply it all over my feet only to the problem areas, mainly my heels, the outside edges of my feet and my big toe. But any excess I have after applying to these areas I do spread all over my feet.Overall, I am quite impressed with the effectiveness of this cream and I recommend it if you have the same issues I have with dry cracked heels and callouses. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the strong scent it has but like I said it isn unpleasant, just something to be aware of if you are as sensitive to smells as I am.

Works Well but Absorbs Slowly
The scent on this is floral, and while it’s not one I personally love, it’s light enough that it doesn’t really matter — especially since it’s just on my feet. The texture feels like a face cream: soft, smooth, and very moisturizing. It does soften well, but it absorbs much more slowly than other foot creams I use, which is the main reason I’d deduct one star but it is easy to apply.It works best if you apply it and then put on gel socks or moisturizing socks. The socks don’t make it absorb faster — they just give it time to fully soak in — and with that method my feet feel noticeably softer afterward.For the cost I think it’s a good value with the good results as long as you’re okay with the slower absorption. Overall, I’d give it 4 stars.
