Yes it’s expensive, but it works great
If you have the budget this product doesn’t disappoint. My sister was over the other night and we both have color treated hair and I made her try this. She texted me a picture of herself in the car the next day and said she couldn’t stop staring in the rear view mirror at how shiny and smooth her hair is. Y’all don’t know my sister, but sending me selfies is not something she normally does! Ha. When I asked her what she liked about the product besides how smooth it is, she said it makes her highlights pop. I know she’s my sister, but that’s exactly how I would describe this product. It makes your hair pop. I have wavy semi-frizzy blonde hair and my sister has darker medium brunette hair with light highlights and her hair is very straight. We both agree that this product provides a benefit to our hair health. The shine and softness reminds me of a keratin treatment and it comes as a conditioner (I leave it in for 5 minutes). I’ve been using it about 5 weeks, once a week. So far my color is doing well. This is a high end product, but if you want to experience a salon like blowout and color pop, this is the product.

Wow! This works!!
Holy moly, this is an incredible hair product! I have tried just about EVERYTHING on my hair to make it softer and less frizzy, particularly in Houston’s humidity. I have color-treated hair and I blow-dry it daily so I know I’m hard on it, but I still hold out hope that my hair might feel soft and smooth. THIS STUFF achieves that outcome! You only need a little bit so while it’s expensive, it will last a long time. My hair is fine so if a product is too heavy, it will weigh it down–this is not heavy at all nor does my hair feel oily after using it, like some of the products I’ve tried. Plus, it smells amazing! I will absolutely buy this again, it is incredible!

Great at keeping hIR SOFT and vibrant
Excellent for my colored hair that kept it nice a smooth and the color more vibrate and fresh. I do keep it on for 15 minutes before washing it off as it take a bit of time to settle. It smells nice but I wish the portion was a bit more.

Say Yes to Shu Uemura Color Luster Hydrating Mask!
I like to pamper my locs and this product seemed to promise results I’d love and I did. It’s now my go-to mask which I will use until there is nothing left in the jar. It gave me great results: less frizz, more volume plus softer, more manageable hair. It’s a keeper.

Most luxurious hair mask I’ve used
This hair mask is so luxurious and makes my frizzy coarse hair feel smoother and softer as well as look shinier. That’s saying a lot because many times when I’ve apply other hair masks, my hair is still frizzy afterwards. It’s great that there are nourishing antioxidants such as niacinamide and sake kasu. I’m familiar with niacinamide for skincare and didn’t realize that it’s also great for hair since it improves scalp health. Sake kasu is great for hair hydration as well as scalp health.

Not sure what’s in the ingredients, but my scalp was itchy like crazy after using this Color Lustre line. I purchased the whole set: shampoo, conditioner, mask, and serum. Performance wise, it was ok…nothing outstanding, not at this price point. I didn’t see any extra shine in my hair after using it.
