    I am not impressed

    I was excited for this, but once it came in I was quickly bummed. The plastic is extremely cheap. I feel like it absolutely struggles to cure (which isn’t good for gel polish) and I was mostly excited about the little light at the top to make gel x applications easier, but come to find out there’s no off switch. So you have to plug it in for it to turn on. So it’s almost pointless.

    Handy Curing Setup with One Slight Design Quirky Feature

    I have been doing my own gel nails at home for a while now, and overall this setup gets the job done well. The main housing is spacious enough that I do not accidentally bump my fresh polish against the sides when sliding my hand in. The auto sensor triggers immediately when your hand enters, which saves you from reaching around trying to press buttons with wet nails. Curing power seems solid throughout the dome, and my gel polish set fully in standard sixty second runs without leaving sticky patches on the thumbs or pinkies.The top gooseneck attachment was actually the main reason I wanted to try this style. Having a directed spotlight for flash curing individual tips or holding down soft gel extensions without the full piece sliding around makes a huge difference. My one minor complaint is how that top attachment functions. There is no separate power button on the small light arm itself, so as long as it is plugged into the port, it stays illuminated continuously. You have to physically unplug the little piece if you do not want it shining while using the main dome. It is not a dealbreaker by any means, but having an inline switch would make the workflow smoother. Still, for routine weekly manicures, it is a convenient machine that saves time.

    Pretty strong lamp! The main nail lamp is really strong, but the flash cure lamp that you plug in isn’t as strong, but it gets the job done.

    Excellent Nail Lamp for Gel Tips and Gel Polish

    This nail lamp has everything needed for a complete at-home manicure. It cures both gel polish and gel tips evenly, and the spacious interior easily fits a full hand or foot. The built-in timer and display make it simple to use, while the flexible overhead light is a nice bonus for improving visibility during nail prep and detailed work.The only feature I wish it had is a separate button to control the small top light independently. Even so, the overall build quality feels solid, the design looks sleek and modern, and it performs exactly as expected. Considering its versatility, appearance, durability, and value for the money, this is an excellent choice for anyone doing regular gel manicures at home.

    I got this UV Light for Nails, UV LED Nail Lamp. I love this lamp. This device is super easy to use. I have another one but it doesn’t have the flexible lamp on the top. The lcd screen is easy to see for the count down. The instructions are easy to understand and easy to follow. This nail lamp works as intended and is absolutely as described. I love this machine because of the extra lamp that I can move and point to my nails for more direct light and to fix mistakes etc faster with the extra light. This nail lamp appears durable. This nail lamp appears strongly made. This nail lamp seems well made. This nail lamp seems made with good quality materials. This nail lamp do what it is supposed to do and dries my nails very fast. This nail lamp can make a great gift for a girl or a lady. This nail lamp has a price of just 16.99 at the time of this review and that makes this nail lamp very affordable. I recommend this lamp.

    Not bad, lots of ways to improve, I like the dial for timer

    So, not to be the Grinch that ruined home manicures but, this UV light was a bit disappointing (in my opinion). I’m just gonna rip off the band-aid and start with the Con’s – * Way to short of a power cord, which limits where I can do my nails. * The depth seems to be shorter than all the other UV lights I’ve tried over the years. Every time I put my hand inside my nails hit the back (and my nails are relatively short). * Each time I put my hand inside I got the UV burn sensation. (long time gel/ acrylic users will know the feeling).  This can happen at times with any light if gel polish is around the nail bed instead of on it (I rarely miss, but it can happen once in a blue moon). * The cute mini UV attachment I thought was a smart addition, until I used it. There is no on/off button so once you plug it in you have light, however you need one hand to put it in (bear in mind, one hand probably has gel on the nails so you don’t want to use that hand) angling it with one hand not the best, then you have to pull it out so it doesn’t hit the gel polish bottle. I think I’ll stick to the mini UV flashlight, I already have. On to the Pro’s (sadly not many) – *  I really like the rotating dial, which lets you pick your desired time, for my purpose I tend to like 40 seconds, which no other light I own has this option. Overall, for $49.99 (at time of this review) I’m not too impressed with this UV/LED light.  It might be okay for some home manicures (especially non-picky users like me) but taking into account the above I have to give this light 2 stars. Perhaps if the cord was longer, the mini light was more useful rather than awkward, and I didn’t get the burn sensation every time, I could have gone up to 3 stars. Can’t recommend based on my experience!
