There’s a very clear difference between a “DIY nail lamp” and something that feels like it belongs in a salon, literally. This is the latter.This is a 60W plug-in UV nail lamp, and it absolutely performs like one. The first thing that stood out is its sheer size. It easily fits a full hand, all five fingers including the thumb, without having to angel or cure the thumb separately. That alone makes the process not only faster, but significantly smoother, especially when doing multiple layers.The look is clean and professional, and the build quality feels solid and very well made. The included handle is a thoughtful touch and makes it easy to move around and stay mobile with if needed.It clearly feels designed for salon environments; the tell for this is that the timer display faces away from the person inserting their hand, which makes sense for a salon tech who would be monitoring the time across from a client. Note that this is not a bad thing, just noteworthy for anyone who may be interested in using this for personal use like my wife is.It includes a wall plug power adapter (not USB), which is exactly what you’d expect from a true 60W UV lamp. There’s an auto-sensor that immediately activates when you insert your hand or foot, and it begins counting on the display. There are also manual timer options for 10, 30, 60, and 90 seconds, which gives ample amounts of flexibility depending on the gel being used.My wife uses this routinely for her base coat, color layers, and top coat, and she’s consistently had full curing with a single cycle per layer. There are no under-cured spots or needing to double back. All Of The Bells And Whistles! 42-LED Beads, High-Performance Black Gold Diode
I had no idea why this LED/UV nail dryer was so much different than others I’ve tried. It’s faster, cooler and the diodes are designed specifically to cure polish with variable intensity and lower heat. I also noticed the UV light was far less glaring. The “power” on my previous nail dryer was 150W and this NAILGIRLS dryer is 60W. However, higher watts can be a bad thing and ELECTRICAL POWER has NOTHING to do with curing nails.It’s all about the LED diodes* – their quality, how they are distributed and their wavelength. This dryer is salon-quality has 20% more diodes than my last dryer and variable brightness – or low-heat mode and I can control UV intensity as well as time.Black/Gold diodes are high-performance LEDs specifically designed to provide a deeper cure at higher speeds but less likely to cause discomfort (not that I’ve ever experienced any). Basically, you can control both the curing time and the LED intensity. How much electricity your device consumes doesn’t help your nails dry any more quickly, but LED diodes that have been specifically engineered to provide higher performance and that are precisely designed for faster polymerization (shorter curing/ faster drying times) definitely make a difference. They also last longer.I remember two minutes seemed fast when I had my nails done for me, but now nail dryers are designed to work much more efficiently and with various kinds of modern gel products. A gel nail strip which normally takes me 60 seconds can take as little as 10 seconds.I’m glad I read both about the features this NAILGIRLS nail dryer offers and the bottles that contain instructions for my polishes. The curing time can be significantly reduced and polishes that didn’t work for me now work in a snap! What can I say? I didn’t know. By the way, the first thing I thought was I would be exposing my hands to higher UV, but it is exactly the opposite. You might also think it’d be harder to operate, but they make it even easier (and it’s roomy). It reminds me of my microwave. Instead of punching in a bunch of numbers, I can just press “popcorn”!

Solid lamp
I bought this to replace my entry level s*nuv lamp. What a difference! Yes it’s double the cost but the build quality is very different. It’s heavier than the plastic hollow feeling lamps, even the plug has a more solid feel.I chose this lamp over another because is metal inside, whioich I’m hoping will result in better curing. The placement of the bulbs is far more even than others, especially on the side walls. I have only used it once so far but it cured without any issues.I’m happy so far and the lamp seems well made. I just hope that it lasts longer than my previous one!
