Vegetable Oil as the Main Ingredient
I was excited to try this cuticle oil since I often deal with dry, peeling cuticles. Right out of the packaging, I noticed the label on the bottle was already peeling, which wasn’t a great first impression, though not a dealbreaker. I do like the dropper-style container, it’s convenient to keep in a purse and makes it easy to apply just a drop to each nail.My main disappointment is with the ingredients. The very first ingredient listed is plain vegetable oil. Other cuticle oils I’ve tried usually start with higher-quality oils, like avocado oil. While this formula does include some better ingredients further down the list, having vegetable oil as the main base really makes me question it’s quality, especially for the price.

I’m shocked by Young Nails. I’ve always loved their products and I’m so disappointed that this tiny tube of cuticle oil is $17. There’s nothing in it that makes the price make sense. Not a fan.

Great Applicator
This cuticle oil is indeed unscented and absorbs well. The best thing about it is the applicator – it just has a thin tip and the product flows out when you run it across your cuticles – no annoying brushes or tips that dispense way too much product. The cuticle oil itself isn’t overly slippery in texture and it absorbs quickly so there’s no need to worry about it getting on everthing you touch for the rest of the day. It’s definitely a little pricey and I don’t know that I would purchase it again for that cost.

I don’t usually spend very much time on my cuticles when doing my nails. It seems like I’ve got 50 other things to do instead. But when I saw this YN Young Nails Cuticle Oil, I figured I would try it. My skin is really sensitive so I have to be careful what I use. It didn’t have a negative effect on my skin, on the contrary, it made my cuticles glowy. I really like how my fingernails absorbed it like a big drink of water they’ve been waiting on for years. It’s super easy and straightforward to use & it can be used anytime, anywhere. Plus, I think the price is pretty spot on. At the time of this reviewed it was $17 which may sound like a lot but you have to also remember you’re not going to be using this every day. It should last a while. You’re not going to be buying a new cuticle pen in two weeks. Plus the bottle is really pretty. Very nice job on the packaging. I would definitely re-order and recommend. 5 Stars★★★★★

Great product but very expensive and the cap broke fast!
I tend to use Vaseline for my cuticles as it’s quite cost effective but thought this might be easier to try. I’ve never tried a cuticle pen before.Upon receiving said item, the cuticle oil came in a box with the ingredients. The ingredients are quite straightforward, with vegetable oil (soybean oil) being the first and main ingredient along with other oils. This product in made in South Korea.The lid on the pen is easy to open and to apply the oil. The oil soaks into the cuticles and the nails really easily. The formulation is nice. There is no scent to the product either.I think it’s a good product but extremely expensive! For $17, there is only 15 ml worth of product. I would stick to just using Vaseline or making your own recipe of cuticle oil with vegetable oil.Update: less than a month later and the cap somehow is broken. I’m not sure how as it sits on my bedside table and I use it carefully.

Finally, an unscented option!
I think this cuticle oil works great. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t stain everything I touch afterward. I appreciate that it’s unscented too. A lot of scented cuticle oils smell so cheap to me, so I’d much rather use something unscented and apply my favorite lotion to my hands. I’ve noticed that my cuticles look better since I started using this too. This is shaping up to be a permanent staple in my nail care routine!I removed 1 star because I do wish it had a brush applicator for a more controlled application.

Absorbs Nicely but Pricy
This is an effective cuticle oil pen that does its job when it comes to softening cuticles. It seems like a basic oil that is dispensed out of a pen type tube which makes it easy to apply to the cuticles directly. It’s absorbs quickly which is a huge plus. It definitely softens cuticles but I don’t think it is worth the $17 price tag. There is nothing that stands out against the other cuticle oils that are available for a much lower price.
