    Yay, a clear ingredient listing

    This review is for the lavender tallow elixir.This brand has one of the clearest listings of ingredients that I have seen in a beauty product. Each ingredient is clearly listed with the percentage of that ingredient in the product. This product includes shea butter, manuka honey olive, almond and jojoba oil, although with the exception of shea butter, those ingredients are at minimal levels. This moisturizer has an expiration of August 2028, which tells me there are lesser amounts of natural ingredients in this than other brands. This moisturizer is made in China.This moisturizer comes in a tube that makes it easy to dispense the moisturizer. The inner seal was not sealed well though. This moisturizer is a creamy white lotion that has a slight scent of lavender. I liked the light lavender scent as it is not overpowering and smells nice on the skin. The scent fades fairly quickly at least on my skin, which is typical of most moisturizers with scents for me. For those who prefer an unscented cream, then this is probably not the moisturizer for you. I don’t personally mind the lavender scent.The thick moisturizer is light, smooth and creamy. A small amount of cream covers pretty well. Unlike some brands of tallow, this moisturizer did not feel heavy or greasy on my skin, but I tend to apply it lightly to avoid overdoing it. It absorbs quickly without any residue or stickiness. My skin looks moisturized and feels soft. It doesn’t irritate my skin. Now, this doesn’t moisturize as well as other brands of tallow, probably due to the amount of tallow in this at 15 percent, but those tallows tend to be heavier and oilier than this is, making this moisturizer good for the face, hands or other parts. Everyone’s skin is different though in terms of how it feels on the skin, but for me, I found it to be better than some other types of tallow moisturizers.This is a decent quality tallow moisturizer with a nice lavender scent that moisturizes well without being oily, if you apply lightly that is.4 stars

    Great Multi-Purpose Tallow Cream!

    This cream is wonderful! I use it primarily as a travel hand cream in my purse, but it’s great anywhere on the body. It’s light, non-greasy, and the skin really drinks it in. In fact, like any good tallow cream, a little goes a long way. I even let a friend try it, and she liked it so much that I’m ordering her some! This is just an excellent product!

    I bought this for the purpose of moisturizing my cuticles and to treat myself with a “fancier” lotion. It smells mildly like lavender, but it gives more of a “church-y” smell for the duration. My skin feels no different than any other moisturizer, but I will say it is non-greasy.

    I love using the tallow for a very dry hands. I would say the only reason I gave it four stars is because of the smell. I’m not a lavender person. It has a very strong lavender smell.
